Nu-Guardia was always a serious type of place. It was all about the politics, and the protection of the people, and the tension between Syirith and Telaris, or Solar and Sirius. There wasn’t any comic relief. Matter of fact, there wasn’t even any of the necessary tourism a place such as Nu-Guardia needed.
Enter Clarence. Clarence Beethoven. The 31st.
He was always brought around when he was most needed. It would seem that the world had gravitated him towards Nu-Guardia, a place in need of his masterful tourism. He wasn’t an average tourist, either. Some would call him, the “Super Tourist”, while others would call him “The Tourist From Hell”. Either way, he was one of the best at the annoying job he did.
As he officially entered the country of Syirith, he immediately grasped the Polaroid camera that was around his neck. He lifted it up and, with his supernatural focus, took a picture of the horizon. Then the sign that said; Welcome To Syirith. Then a random person walking through the streets.
But, he most certainly could not do all of this tourism alone.
Utilizing his one inhuman ability at his disposal, he called upon the tourist gods and goddesses to bring him the proper amount of the cliché tourists that would drive people utterly insane. Seemingly slithering out from the ground, they popped up, appearing in massive groups until there was at least a hundred or so of them all around him, taking flash photography of every structure or person they saw. They were holding buildings, squishing a statue of the high council, and overall creating a flurry of havoc for everyone within the streets.
Clarence’s lips curled into a smile. What a great way to start the day.
