Mahlo Mercay
Welcome To Reflective Reality
Mahlo is 20 years old, and his face is unblemished with a slightly pale white complexion to him. He has light green eyes that seemed to fit his blonde shoulder length blonde hair that would partially cover his eyes from time to time. His usual clothing is a black tuxedo suit that isn't as tight as most, but not loose enough that it's noticeable. His shoes are black dress shoes.
Personality:
Mahlo is a very bright individual. He never really thinks negative of anything. He is a gentleman to women, and when he meets one will most likely kiss their hands and formally greet them. He is nice to the people he cares about, and even the ones he doesn't, that is, unless he is fighting them. Even in a fight, he will try his best not to kill unless of course it is life or death. He is very outgoing and crazy once you get to actually know him.
Abilities:
When it comes to abilties, Mahlo is...an interesting individual.
Mirror Summoner: He has the unique ability to, first and foremost, create mirrors created out of liquid mercury around a ten meter radius of his person. The mercury itself can be used as a weapon, seeing as if one is to eat mercury it can cause death.
Reflection Controller: This ability came along with the unique ability to be able to do an amazing thing. He can control the reflections of any shiny surface (preferably a mirror) and use it for attacks.
Distortion: He can also distort said reflections to have any weapons or anything that could be helpful to him during battle. For example, Mahlo could mentally distort a mirror of himself to have a sword, and then proceed to take the reflection from the mirror, using it as a clone to attack his opponent. Or he could jump into the reflection of a mirror, allowing his other reflection to jump out to take the hit.
Portal Gun: Yes, I said it, portal gun. Mahlo has the ability to, when there are multiple mirrors, drift through reflections. He could do this with a tag partner as well when there are two mirrors, shooting the partner at the enemy
Object Control: He also has the ability to place a mirror he has brought out to reflect another object, thus allowing it to come out. However, the bigger or more complex it is, the more energy it would take to bring it out. Something as simple as a sword or a squirrel isn't much, but a human being could possibly kill him with the exertion.
Other than his odd and unique abilities, Mahlo is just like that of a normal human. His speed is a bit above average, but he has no other unique abilities that go with his person.
Bio:
Mahlo was born to a great family when he was first born. A nurturing mother, and a sweet father that took care of him like he himself was the most precious artifact the world had ever seen. He was an only child as well, so he was a spoiled one. But that all changed soon enough.
When Mahlo turned to be two years old, his beloved father and mother became....unstable. His father had become a alcoholic gradually, soon drinking two or three bottles a day, most of which were bought from his mother's money at work. That was why they could only afford a two bedroom shit apartment for four hundred a month that had roaches and a crumbling foundation. After being abused by the father for about two years, Mahlo's mother began to take her pent up rage out on her son, causing Mahlo to be an abuse victim as well as his mother, his father starting up the entire cycle of abuse that went throughout his family
Mahlo had always been the type to talk to his reflections. He did not see anything wrong with such a thing: He had always thought it was NATURAL to be able to have full-fledged conversations with your opposite in the mirror. That is why he had done it for a long time in his life. He would talk to the reflection of the mirror in his room about what his mother had done to him that day, what vulgar things his father had said to him. And every single time, his reflection would listen intently, a frown on his face. He would always express that he did not like the way he was treated, and though that he could have a much better life.
One day, when Mahlo was around seven years old, he was having another one of his conversations with his mirror. His mother walked in, and saw the mirror speaking when Mahlo wasn't. She gasped in shock. She had always been told by Mahlo that his reflection told him that she should stop hitting him. For his lies, she would whip him much harder than normal. But now, she had come to the realization that he was telling the truth. She was so shocked, she did the one thing that she knew how. She grabbed the whip and ran to hit Mahlo. Mahlo let out a streak of terror at another lash being placed onto his skin, but this time she was stopped. His reflection had grown tired of all of the abuse that Mahlo had taken. He grew tired of everything that had been done to the poor child. The reflection stepped out of the mirror, and strangled the mother to death, and then proceeded to run into the father's room as he was drinking, and do the same. Mahlo, in tears, had no idea what to do. No matter what his parents had done to him, he still loved them. But his reflection comforted him, telling him it would all be okay, and Mahlo called the police and their bodies were taken.
Shortly afterwards, Mahlo was put up for adoption, and was taken by what seemed like a loving family. They seemed nice when he met them. But then once he was adopted, he found that his adopted mother was the only nice one. She nurtured him the best he could, and really cared about him. But his adopted father....wasn't like that. He was a mad scientist, and only wanted a child to adopt for experimentation. He had heard that Mahlo had told the police that his reflection had harmed them, deeming it as a hallucination of when the real killer ran in and killed them as a defense mechanism from the truth. But, Paul didn't think so. He knew the child had potential, and he would be down in the lab everyday, experimenting.
One day, now 9 year old Mahlo was on his normal operating table, and Paul had decided another approach. Being the unstable minded person that he was, he decided to test what would happen if mercury was to enter Mahlo's system. He injected a few shots worth of mercury into his arm, and Mahlo began to have convulsions on the operating table, and was soon after taken to the hospital. It seemed that one day he needed to be helped for mercury poisoning, and the next day it was just gone, and he was released. He soon found out that he could use the mercury that had now morphed inside of him to make all sorts of things, including mirrors to talk to his reflections since there were no mirrors at this house because Paul knew of his abilities. The reflection told him to run away, but to kill the person that had wronged him first. Mahlo hated Paul, and to him this was his justice finally being served, so of course he agreed. He distorted his reflection with his own mind to have a mercury knife in his hand, and allowed him to sprout out of the mirror. The reflection grabbed Paul as he was in the basement, pushed him against the wall, and stabbed the mercury knife into his chest, killing him instantaneously. Meanwhile, the real Mahlo gave his adopted mother, Marie, a hug and a kiss goodbye, saying he was leaving. Before she could react or call anyone, he had ran into the night, never to be found by any of them again.
From then on, Mahlo spent his time wandering around, honing in his abilities to a max. Throughout his teen life, Mahlo's various reflections taught him the morals of life, and even tutored him for school so he wouldn't have to go. It was because of these reflections, that Mahlo became the gentleman of average intelligence that he is today. Though deep down, he still had a hatred for his reflections for killing his parents, though they knew best. He also had his reflections to thank for keeping him company and such. Now Mahlo had a steady life, using his powers for battle that he craved.
