Hey guys! I figured I would be the first to place my character profile up here since nobody else has just yet, so here you go!
Markose Smith; The Imaginatrix Warrior
Theme Song: (Keep Replaying as you read)
Basics
Name: Markose Smith
Age: 17
Ethnicity: Caucasian (AKA a cracker ;D)
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Markose is about six and a half feet tall, with a thin frame, but every part of his weight is muscle, and only a small bit of fat, meaning he is still relatively strong. His light blue hues compliment his shoulder length jet black hair and his complexion. On his torso he wears a white T-shirt with a dark black vest atop of it along with a shiny silver cross around his neck. Scrolling down, he has blue faded jeans and a pair of light brown combat boots. ( The long vest is armor plated with various strong metals. This slows him down a bit, but he is still very fast. And when he takes the vest off, his speed is unimaginable. ),
Personality: Markose is an outgoing type of person, fairly goofy and lackadaisical. His immaturity sometimes flashes up, for the simple fact that he is still 17. Even in battle, he seems to have a childish like entertainment from it, though his seriousness is escalated.
The Imaginatrix
The imaginatrix is Markose's main source of power. In all of us, there are signals that indicate are thoughts, feelings, and senses. Markose has the rare ability to condense these signals and bring them beyond the mind, imposing them on various energies to make things entirely from his imagination. But to condense and impose the signals in such a way, Markose needs a generator within his mind. This generator's source of power comes from an altered state of mind, which Markose has rightly deemed "The Imaginatrix". Markose can go into this altered state of mind for no more than a couple of minutes, and if he is physical hit he will return back to his normal state of mind, though his mind and body would be weakened. But in this altered state of mind, the conceptual generator within his brain is able to use the signals and create virtually anything he desires completely from within the depths of his mind. As stated above, the major weakness is that once he loses that state of mind and goes back to his normal state, his body is weakened and his mind majorly weakened. That is why he carries a shot of adrenaline into every fight, to keep him in the battle for more time once he is weakened like that. The only way to figure out if he is in his Imaginatrix form is when his blue aura comes around his person. He has the ability to see through illusions with great ease, since illusions are built from the mind.
Supporting Ability; Heaven's Penetrator
To have such a great but limited power such as the Imaginatrix, Markose needs another supporting ability to keep him in battle when not in his altered state. This supporting ability is within the sword strapped to his back, rightfully deemed "Heaven's Penetrator". This sword is a two handed sword that is rather heavy, but Markose has learned to move with it rather efficiently over the years of having it. It is so heavy, in fact, that nobody else could pick it up but him. No matter their heritage, their powers, or anything like that, it is impossible for them to pick up. This is because it was created by a group of enchanters, making it so only Markose could be the one to lift it up. While that isn't too spectacular, the actual properties of it are. Whichever element it comes in contact with, Markose is able to use that sword as a conduit to control said element. It can control the majority of elements except for a few, which include wind. In extreme terms, Markose can put two elements together and use properties of both on his blade. There are many things he can control with touch, but The main elements that are rather easy to manipulate are:
Metal: Whenever the sword touches metal, layers and layers of that metal form onto the sword making it stronger and sharper.
Fire: Whenever the sword touches fire, the blade is engulfed in flames and can start other fires.
Earth: Whenever the sword touches the ground, compact earth forms around it making it more of a blunt object, but it can slice through the ground like butter.
Water: Whenever the sword touches water, it takes on a blue aura and is able to freeze people with the blades touch or burn them with boiling water.
This is a few of many, and those four can be used in other aspects as well. (NEW) Any element that is manipulated within a three foot radius can not be manipulated by anyone no matter their powers, for it is his power until he lets go of said manipulation.
There is also a small scale ability that he has the ability to utilize. He is able to have a sort of "Spider Sense", if you will. It gives him the ability to see what is coming, unless he isn't expecting it of course. For example, if a bullet it coming at him from afar, he can feel it coming in his mind and dodge it with ease.
Bio
A Bit Of History: Have you ever wondered exactly where the thoughts that went through your brain, the over-active imagination you are given comes from? That odd dream that has you awake in the dead of night, trying to remember what you could have possibly encountered to get such a flamboyant dream, where did it spawn from? The paranoia within your mind that someone is going to take you while you’re stuck in the bed. We know it’s only a childhood imagination, but where would such a notion of a monster underneath your bed possibly be derived from?
Enter the Imaginatrix. A place where all sorts of thoughts created by mankind are stored, good from bad. The metaphysical place that seems to be sentient in some cases. Any sort of creature or item hidden within the deepest depths of a person’s mind, has been documented and placed in with the millions of creations within this glorified storage unit. This is where people acquire their undeniably out-of-the-box dreams. Where the vast amounts of children across the world acquire their fears. Where people are gifted or cursed with their over-active imagination that stays with them throughout their life. The Imaginatrix is here, and has been here ever since the first thought was created by the first-born of mankind. It’s presence will stay with us, even after death.
There is a reason one would call an over-active imagination a blessing or a curse. The people with an imagination that makes them over think certain things, and imagine many different worlds and scenarios. Those are the ones that have a special connection to the Imaginatrix. While that connection is stronger, it is almost implausible that one’s connection will be strong enough to use it properly. There have only been a few cases ever known to mankind of such a thing, since it either takes a long duration of training that most would never try out due to it’s years long of exercise of the metaphysical mind. Then there are the one in a billion, that have gained their special connections to the Imaginatrix because it has chosen a being to utilize it’s powers to maintain acts of heroism. Enter Markose.
The Adolescence: Markose Smith, The Chosen Warrior to fight the acts of pure evil. Similar to Superman, but without the cape and the Kryptonite weakness. One would realize his potential from when he was a toddler. The same over-active imagination that most children possess in their younger years was present. His imagination would, however, cause him to create anything he wanted. A toy, something to chew on when he was teething. The two parents, average humans with no sorts of Imaginatrix connections, were baffled by this.
He continued through his adolescence, an outcast that was never picked on by the average bullies in fear that they would feel the wrath of the metaphysical matter that was within his prowess. Markose thought he was lost in this world, that this was some sort of punishment that was given to him upon birth. As he went through the life of middle school, he began to make friends, however. He was beginning to garner control over his own abilities, and was beginning to become the average humanoid teenage male. Lazy, and unmotivated to do much of anything. Of course, even now he still carries those same properties. It wasn’t until his second year within high school that he realized what these attributes really were meant for.
The Meeting: Zachary Myers. The only other being with the powers to wield the Imaginatrix to his own will. However, unlike Markose, he wasn’t chosen by the sentient mind of the Imaginatrix. Since he was the age of three years old, his father, who dreamed of becoming the inevitable destroyer of galaxies, trained his son in the ways of psychic manipulation of the Imaginatrix. It was cruel training, that would give Zach scars that he could never forget, even if they were to scab over and heal. But at the end of it all, his frail mind had the power. It was the best manipulation of the Imaginatrix that had been seen in centuries. With his mind scarred, he had the same values as his now deceased father; to destroy this world, and next, the galaxies.
He had come to the high school late in Markose’s second year. They never liked each other. It was as if there was always something about each other they despised. They did have a reason. Two opposites. One fighting for good, the other for evil. It was the perfect cliché feud. The moment Zachary came to this conclusion, he attacked Markose. With Zachary’s prowess as opposed to Markose’s rusty and unused manipulation, he was severely outmatched. It was his first near-death experience. His heart had actually ceased to beat for a few moments, resulting in Zach leaving, thinking his job was done.
He should have finished the job. For after this incident, Markose realized what he had to do. As news began to go around of increased crime and natural disasters spreading across the planet, the young male dropped out of school, left home and continued training. He wandered the world, moving into alleyways to utilize his powers on various things. He went to abandoned houses, untouched forests, unsullied deserts. Everywhere. Until finally. Finally he had harnessed the power enough to match the powerful Zachary Myers in power, and stop him in destroying the planet.
And ever since then, he has been continuously harnessing his powers, fighting people to train as he seeks out the elusive Zach.
