“Hey.”
Argent had been sitting on the ground, hands meshed together, his glance boring into the grass beneath him, for what seemed like hours now. That‘s because it had been. He was on the outskirts of Ariya, where you would only see the occasional building structure or person. There was another man here. A man who would build any mech that you desired, legally or illegally, at a cost. He had been requested to manufacture a mech for the male, that had the ability to take two forms; One a weapon, and the other being the actual mech. It had taken weeks upon weeks to finally finish it’s creation, and Argent had sat at this very spot for the majority of that time. He waited, as the mechanic worked day in and day out on his precious contraption.
Born to parents he did not know before being thrown into the city streets of Syirith, he knew a thing or two about poverty. Being tossed around from family to family, over and over through his adolescent life until he had reached the age of thirteen. It was then that he was finally tossed in with a loving, caring family with enough cash to pay for a mansion to use each season. It was there that he graduated. Where he learned about magic, as well as science. Where he learned everything he knew today. And now, with enough funds to do what he always wanted to do, he had more than enough to pay this shady man to create an out of this world mech.
Argent glanced up to the male in front of him, the blazing sun in the light blue skies making the male’s figure but a shadow.
“Your mech…it is finished.”
Argent jumped up from his spot, standing erect and following the mechanical engineer to his gargantuan building that had been made to be a rather large garage just for this sort of occupation. Some people speculate that shady men like this could screw a person over. That was true, but Argent had paid him up front, and informed him that if he was robbed of his money he would be after him. It was figured that would be enough to persuade him to create it the correct way.
His index finger depressed on the button that opened the garage door, and as it slowly lifted up and revealed the mech hidden inside, Argent was astonished. The mech was just how he had imagined it. How he wanted it to be. It was at the very least fifty feet tall, mixed with the three colors of blue, gold, and medium grey. It’s torso opened up along with a flight of stairs so that Argent could climb up into his seat with ease.
On it’s right hand was a fist, which most likely held various weaponry itself. Instead of another hand on the left, it was in fact another sword, twenty five feet in length. It’s blade had the ability to cut through any metaphysical or magical ability with an orange fury, and do well with physical objects too. It’s mouth was open and a glowing orange, as if there were molten lava inside. It’s eyes were a glowing with an identical color, while the rest of it was a bland gray.
There were other small details about it that Argent would likely find out later. Right now, however, he was ecstatic.
“So..,” The mechanic said hesitantly, “What do you plan to do with this hulkish bot?”
Argent cocked his head, his glance falling onto the mechanic that had done everything he had asked for. The deep burgundy-haired male rummaged in his pocket, pulling out an extra thousand dollars. He swung his arm, placing the cold hard cash into the mechanic’s hand before giving him a cocky smile.
“I’m gonna test this baby out.”
