Personality: Vysen is the quiet type and tends to stay to himself, but he does have the tendency to interact with others in ways that aren’t entirely direct. He will find ways to help them, or hurt them, while never interacting with that person face to face in any way. If he does help them directly, it shows that he cares for that person more than the average being, maybe even see them as a friend or family, or even a lover. He is warm-hearted and gentle. He is caring and friendly, despite being such a huge loner or someone who works from the shadows. But he is rather battle hungry, and always loves to fight and therefore rarely turns down a challenge, even if he is bound to lose. He shows his determination and focus during his fights, how much he can hold for anything. He is loyal to those who gain his truth, his friendship, but his friendship and trust isn’t easily gained.

Shadow Manipulation

Just like normal shadow users, Vysen has complete control over shadows, able to mold them to his will. He can create anything that comes to mind, even a copy of himself, or his opponent. But these objects are still shadows and therefore intangible unless he condenses them into a physical substance, which he has begun calling Shadow Matter.

Shadow Fusion

He can fuse with any shadow of his choosing, even the shadow of his opponent, and control that shadow as well as shape it to his liking. When fused with a shadow his speed and strength can increase of decrease based on the size and bulk of the shadow. He is also able to increase both his strength and speed but by giving up something else. There are many possibilities for him to go through such as giving up sight, hearing, sense of smell, arms, legs, and so on. Depends on what he gives up can change the final outcome of his infused power.

Eternal

He has eternal youth but can die by many other means.

Shadow Speed

He can use shadows to glide along the ground, a few feet in the air and over water at speeds most would be surprised at. He is able to maneuver a lot easier when using this ability since it's his shadows moving him, not himself moving. This not only makes it so he can concentrate easier on his opponent and prepare attacks while using the shadows to keep himself moving while standing still. There is a down side to this ability and that's it doesn't allow him to collect other shadows while not touching the ground. He can collect shadows before or after, but not during. He can use his Eternal Shadows even while using this ability, though.

Shadow Strength

He can increase his natural strength by using shadows to act as extra muscles. These shadows normally condense on the outside of his arm and coat his hand. These shadows are always in shadow matter state and act as real muscles so when cut, just as when a real muscle is cut, they get rendered near useless. Depending on the size of the shadow muscle changes how much he can pick up with the use of his shadows, but not only does it take longer for him to collect the shadows for larger muscles but it also makes his muscles easier to hit.

Intangibility

When fused with a shadow, Vysen can change between tangibility and intangibility by changing the shadow itself from shadow matter or not. Not this is possible only when he is fused with a shadow through his Shadow Fusion ability. He can also surround his body in shadows which would allow him to turn entire body, or only the part of his body coated in shadows, intangible. He cannot turn intangible otherwise.

Eternal Shadows

Unlike most shadow users, Vysen can call upon the eternal shadows that he had collected over the centuries. These shadows are old and more condensed than normal shadows therefore are stronger when used for attacks but Vysen has a limited number of them to use before he will run out.

Soul Shadows

This is a form of shadow manipulation Vysen has mastered and is unlike any other. These shadows are from the darkness his own soul creates, the shadows of his heart and spirit, the shadows of his good and evil. These shadows are made from the soul, therefore when used in an attack they not only attack the physical body, but the soul itself as well. He is also able to use the shadows created inside other people by their souls as well, but these shadows are harder for him to collect but, if he can collect them and then make a successful attack, they are far more devastating. The collecting of others soul shadows is painless, unnoticeable and untraceable unless someone is intune with their spiritual selves. In a fight it is nearly impossible for him to collect the shadows of someone else thanks to needing physical contact that last more than a second.


Natural Abilities

To clarify things, natural abilities are abilities that are there without use. They are natural to the body and therefore are always there, if he wants them or not.

High Strength

Vysen is a demon and like all demons he is far stronger than he appears. He can lift sin hundred pounds without straining his body and then up to a ton with a lot of strain on his muscles. Anything that is six hundred pounds and under he can throw over thirty meters away from him but every one hundred pounds added takes off five meters that he can throw. In the end, he can throw a ton ten meters away from him.

High Speeds

Vysen is a shadow demon, a type of demon who possesses mainly speed. Being able to cover a mile a minute with ease, a mile in half a minute when pushing himself but when going this fast it's near impossible for him to stop instantly without falling flat on his face and it leaves him open to many attacks. When going two miles a minute he also can't instantly cut off and turn to the side, making it harder for him to dodge attacks without leaving himself open afterwards.

Enhanced Senses

Being a demon, Vysen's sense of hearing, sight and feel are stronger than humans. He can hear a pin drop at a hundred feet. He can see detail much more clearly, his eyes better than any human can hope for. His since of feel helps him feel the smallest of bumps and ridges, even on what most people consider a smooth surface.
