It was a beautiful day in the great country of Syirith. The sun, surrounded by no obstructions with the exception of the occasional puffy white clouds bore down onto the great cities and lands. The waters glistened as the waves slowly rocked back and forth in rhythm. The buildings, created by some of the greatest architects of the time, stood tall as various people of different races walked through the streets. The city within the skies, Ariya, was experiencing a warm and sunny day due to their closer proximity to the bright yellow star known as the sun.
The Cage, the university of the great city was filled with many aspiring scholars and inventors on that particular day. They would go into the library to read and gather knowledge, or go to the Observatory to read the stars or find another quiet place to study. The rest of the city was bustling, as the tall buildings raised high into the sky.
A house in the middle of the city, one of the larger buildings around, stood with the lights shining through the clear glass windows. The house was nothing special with it’s foundation and creation, but it had been decorated in countless different intricate and colorful designs all across the outer walls. Additions were added to the house, including a patio that was able to go into the wall when there were storms, and out when the sun was out on a day such as this. An extra room was added at the very end of the household, made of some of the most expensive materials, with a large window covering up one of the walls. This was the man’s study as well as his room for inventions.
The afternoon sun shined brightly onto the outer porch, occupied by the owner of the household. He was sitting down in one of the chairs, his mind overtaken with thought. His light blonde hair partially covered his blue hues. His usual jacket was off, revealing his plain white tank top to go along with his jeans. His eyebrows furrowed in his own thought.
A moment later, his lips curled into a smile as something formed just in front of him. Although not detectable to the normal human eye, the man, Markose, had just used his mental abilities to create something from the depths of his mind. It was the prototype of a perpetual motion machine. The perpetual motion machines is known as one of the Renaissance’s rumored designs. A wheel acquitted with spots inside of it that could hold the ball barings found on wheels or the like. One would put the balls into the spots that sunk enough to hold them, and the constant weight of the ball would cause the wheel to continuously spin without any human interaction. Markose, remembering this, created a prototype within his mind.
Instead of using his powers solely for battle, Markose uses his power (strengthen the piece of his brain that controls thoughts and use it as a generator to create it in reality) to create all types of intricate designs and inventions that he can later use as a template to create it with actual materials. It was because of this use of his power, that he was popularly known as Syirith’s greatest inventor.
He smiled at his own work, before leaning over to take a closer look at it. After a few moments, he stepped inside of his household, design in hand, to work on making the machine in reality.
