Come see tonight at Keepers Cove!

First appearance of some rising stars!
Pretty enticing right? Go for one night, if they make it, you can say
"I saw those guys in concert before they were even big!"
but what if they dont? Some cheap entertainment for a night, no hard feelings. However, one thing everyone should know, the story continues, well after the curtain closes.
Our story begins with a small boy growing up in the slums of the city state Alvengrad. Life is rough, and what friends you do have, you know better than to lose. That's all you got is family. So make sure you have a lot of it. In a world where some people can do nothing but hurt, and you are labeled as "undesireable", there can be few reliefs. No matter how rough it gets, one thing that always offers an escape is music. This can be true for any aspect of life, and Jason learned that, thankfully, sooner rather than later.
When his mother drank herself to death, and he loaded a gun for his abusive father to use, he was sent to an orphanage in the working class section of Alvengrad. He was eventually adopted by a traveling bard and his loving wife, who taught him any morals he keeps to this day. He instilled in him that music can always be his comfort. He taught Jason the ways of captivating a crowd, as well as the way of musical spellcraft. Finally, Jason returned to the slums to visit his old friends
after a year of living this comfortable life.
What he returned to was a shock. From outside the slums, life of the "undesirables" looked even worse than actually being one. Jason begged his father to let him stay, pleading that they fight to make this sad little world more of a community, and less survival. His father's kind heart was easily won over, and they started their good intentioned, albiet hopeless, war on poverty. Jason eventually went on to start his own band with his childhood friends. On his sixteenth birthday, his father gave him a very special gift, he booked him a starter gig at a popular club known as Keeper's Cove.
Little did pappa Ares know, this would be the night that began Jason Ares's journey of fate. After a successful first show, the club manager asked him backstage to meet with some producers who are very interested in him, privately. Seeing it as rather strange he did not want to meet with his bandmates as well, he made a deal as to have them at least wait in the hall. Keeper, the manager, reluctantly agreed. Once inside, Jason was met with nothing but a dark room, and a rag of chloroform. As it turns out, Jason had a naturally vast mana reserve, which could be exploited for a certain mad scientist's personal research.
After almost two hours of an unconcious body, and a technoorganic surgery, Jason was almost ready for the final step in the surgery, which would be a total mind wipe so that he could be controlled. Luckily for Jason, he was in a band with some punk teenagers, who were getting restless. The four teens easily overpowered the single drowsy bodyguard, by smashing a base guitar over his head after a heated scuffle, and opened the door to find the frightening scene. They didn't know what was going on, but if Jason were concious, they were pretty sure he wouldn't approve. By using the leftover chloroform, and renduring the good doctor unconcious, they braught Jason back to his father's mansion.
That night, when Jason awoke, he was appalled by the cyborg monster he had become. In a blind rage, he stumbled into the street and found himself in an alley with the homeless. The next day, he found his second tragedy, a burned house, two more dead parents, and some missing friends. Without knowing the culprit, he had a pretty foggy idea of where to start. Unfortunately, not a trace was left of Keeper's Cove. Just another pile of ruble, and a note that read "finder's keepers". Now Jason has only his scars, a foggy trail leading all across the planet of Nu-guardia, and the hope of revenge. It isn't all gloom and doom in this tale however, there is still his music career, that is if he can struggle to find a gig.
Technoorganic weaponry: Any weaponry jason uses, save for explosives and equipment, is actually implemented into his body, and bodily functions. His heart is the core of his power, containing an extra valve that is not on other human hearts, seeing as his is technoorganic. This not only houses his mana storage, but allows for his body to have better stamina and put extra strain on his heart without fear of failure. Even his eyes themselves are replaced with a bionic model, which work nearly twice as fast as a normal human eye. He can focus his mana into these magi-tech implements, for even faster reaction time if needed. This is reffered to as his devine sight. The last application of his devine sight is that he can use a sort of, energy signature vision, viewing the world as a series of energy signatures, to locate people and things not usually visable.
Piercing wail: At the tips of the index, middle, and wring fingers of his right hand are three pinhole sized high intensity speakers. They are connected to mechanisms that have replaced the very bones in these three fingers with technoorganic artificial joints, which run wires once again connected to his heart through the radius bone, to the shoulder, and inside of the second rib on his right side, finally to the chamber that houses his mana. These require a very miniscule amount of mana.
The peircing wails produce a focussed beam of pure sound, emitting about 250 dB. As a little example of how powerful this is, it only takes about 140 dB to explode a human head. This is the most long ranged of his attacks, and can reach up to a hundred yards before the sound dies out.
The sonic shield: On the center of Jason's chest is a large amp-like cone speaker, which produces a large area of effect for a shockwave of 1100 dB, about a foot across. Despite this being enough to explode a human head, this ability is so short ranged it is often only used for blocking an attack. This ability has the power to maybe, put a dent in a sheet of steel, about two inches thick if he is directly next to it. the range of this sound dissapates at about two meters. Medium mana cost.
Feel The Noise: Our final magi-tech weaponry application is a speaker about two inches across on Jason's left palm. It produces a sound of only 100 dB flat. However, the wavelength of this attack is sow low, it can easily dissorient and nauseate a human being to the point of regurgitation. Basically, the dissorientation will feel like you are in the navy without youre sealegs. This attack is medium ranged of roughly ten meters. Low mana cost.
The Wings Of Sound: Despite the name, tthis application does not grant flight, but speed. Producing a modified version of the shield, it can toss Jason forward, and propell him as much as his mana will allow. He need only to, pump up the volume. These two speekers are somewhat different, as they are outwardly placed on his shoulderblades, so that he may change their directions in much the same way as a bird repositions its wings. They are also placed on his technoorganic lungs, which have a seperate mana reserve cut off from all except for these speakers, and are good for about twenty uses at max power, forty for a half boost, etc. High mana cost.
Spells: Finally, Jason's mana pool used for actually casting spells is located in his technoorganic stomach. This being the largest of his three.
Acoustic Poison: Acoustic radiation is defined as the vibrations felt in the human body by the intensity of a sound vibration. By utilizing this feeling through this spell, Jason can hinder the motion of an opponent by using intense acoustic radiation throughout the body. This is viewed by the naked eye, as a giant blue luminescent guitar amp, as well as a physical representation of sound waves. However, you may ask, Narrator? Why doesnt this attack effect Jason? Well kids, I may have failed to mention that Jason can obsorb sounds, just as he can produce them. But narrator, doesnt that mean he can use his own spells to power himself up? Can a steam engine reuse its steam? Same concept.
A little help from my friends: Jason has a spell, that can be used to summon two bard familiars. Viewed almost as a blue spiritual entity, these familiars take the form of a performer, made out of "hard sound". Dont worry, im not going to use the whole "you cant touch music, but music can touch you". Shatter these punks with a good shot to the head. While this spell has a simple medium mana usage, the cooldown is rediculous. Meaning that this spell can most often be used every ten posts. (Alltogether)
Odds and Ends: He acts like summer and walks like rain. Oh wait, isn't that a train lyric? Well that doesnt make it any less true. As I stated earlier, Jason's technoorganic components work with his human body, allowing his cells to obsorb sound, and convert it into his mana. Sound comes from everywhere, of course, but its not like a pin dropping would refill even his weekest spell for one use. He needs at least one hundred dB to put any actual effect in his mana pool. Building off of this effect, Jason can obsorb sounds he creates almost instantly. Meaning he can muffle the sound of a footstep, to almost below 1 dB. Walks like rain.
His devine sight not only grants increased reaction time, but has several different settings. This includes advanced night vision, thermal, aura sensing, and light xray.
Night-vision: capable of functioning effectively in near total darkness, however not actual TD, as that would be impossible.
Thermal: Come on, you're a smart roleplayer, im sure you can figure this effect out.
Aura sensing: The life energy, magical energy, mana, and psychic energy in his opponent's can be seen in a physical representation with this effect.
Light xray: capable of viewing through a concrete block, not through a pillar.
Finally, come on, we all saw this coming. Jason requires a very small amount of mana to achieve an echo location effect.
Equipment: you didn't expect all of his gear to be sound related? That would just be ignorant. On his belt are nine explosives, three of a kind.
Anti-flashbang: Jason isn't exactly sure how this thing works, but just as a flashbang creates a bright flash of light, this one does the opposite. The anti-flashbang uses supressed anti matter to pull in the light around it for about ten meters. This effect lasts for about five seconds, but is more than enough time to make a difference in the heat of battle.
Semtex: A magi-tech semtex grenade, a bit different than earthling semtex. While retaining the usual sticky explosive resin, a magi-tech semtex grenade inflicts manaburn damage.
Spell-slicer frag: I'd say it's all in the name. This modified magic-imbued frag grenade has a spell slicer effect. It exploads in a rather different way, each of its fragments having a rune carved on and when detonating glows in a neon green aura.
